arrived at Southampton Dock at approx. 10-30am and was quite expecting to get told we were to early, we queued for 20 minutes and were let in to the unloading compound, and we were unloaded by a porter and the bags taken away.We parked the car and walked back to the terminal & went through the security check.Got on the ship & were told to go to Windjammer & get something to eat.All in all the total time was about 1 hour.We went to our cabin at about 2-00pm.So far so good.We were booked into the Romeo & Juliet for dinner & found it very well presented but was a bit short on fresh veg.The Christmas evening dinner was nothing to write home about & I think Bernard Matthews may have enjoyed it.We kept going to dinner a few more times but, after I found the head waiter very rude we decided to eat at the Windjammer. This may also be due to quite a bit of English football on telly.Found the food in the Windjammer very good, but watch out for the olduns, they'll barge in & if they dont get you that way they'll trip you with their sticks. If one of them or you are heading for a window table let them have it as you may come off worse.
The cleanliness on the ship is second to none, but I did notice one or two guests not bothering with the alcohol gel.The cabin attendant was excellent & the cabin was kept immaculate. There was staff cleaning handrails etc.the whole time
I heard a lot of moaning on all things possible from the speed of the ship to why weren't we going to Sardinia.
Lovely cabin no vibrations from ship and very quiet
