Crossed the border from Vancouver to Seattle in the wee hours of the morning by Bus and arrived at the port at around 9:30 a.m. and there she was all 91000 tons of her the Celebaity Infinity.

As we were concierge class we thought we had early embarkation priviledges but we soon found out they were non existant. This also applied to the disimbarkation in Ft Lauderdale. A bit dissapointing to say the least. The ship itself was not the worst for wear but you could visually see she was do for some maintenance and repair which ws done I was led to believe at a cost of 55million dollars.

Shore Excursions were not worth the price. For instance a coffee plantation tour in Costa Rica which took all of 40 minutes for a three hour journey there and back (1 1/2 hr each way) although it was interesting. You could also walk a block and see the aircraft carrier USS MIDWAY in San Deigo for $15.00 where if you had booked it thru Celebrity it would have cost you $46.00

Cabin Review

Concierge Class 2

Cabin C2

Cabin 9092 was Excellent but alittle worn and needed alittle upkeep. It was always really clean on a daily basis. Some repairs had to be done while we wee there and they were done almost immediately when we asked for them.
