MSC POESIA RUDENESS AND LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE
Destination: Eastern Caribbean
Embarkation: Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)
We committed the mistake of paying for 2 weeks in that cruise and now we have no desire to go in a cruise again. All the reasons friends gave us to take a cruise were almost absent in this cruise. The reception is totally cold and that people does not know they have teeth in their mouth to smile. Every time you ask for something the answer is: read your program (program they leave in your cabin at 10:00 pm the night before for each day).
We committed the mistake of booking an excursion and, of course it was not what they offered, and if you try to receive some kind of compensation, forget it, you will be jumping from one person to another just to tell us we will need to contact the office whenever we return.
The food was okay, but they should have more people working at dinner time. After talking to others about the general More impression everybody told us there are better cruises than these or this was the worse (and we talked to people that was traveling for the first time with them after being in other cruise lines) for the same price, with more food quality, more activities, and the most important, a friendly staff that we did not see in this cruise.
Apparently in MSC Poesia they think even though you pay they are making you a favor when they look at you or respond any question you have. These people are so stiff, rude and indifferent they should be working at a cemetery.
The entertainment team was good, they have people that are friendly most of the time, but I guess that department has to be friendly no matter what or maybe because it was very clear, the head of that department was not European, so, maybe I have the answer right there.
The best of the cruise??? the people that was cleaning and the boat, beautiful ship, but the people that take care of your cabin, wonderful, seems like they are always cleaning 24 hours a day, every time you turned your head, someone was cleaning, that was the only people who smiled every time you approach to them and all of them are from Indonesia, so, the European should take some classes from them about customer service.
Unfortunately, if I continue talking I will be more specific about all the things we did not like but I think that was the most important, the lack of Customer Service and friendliness.......sometimes if you receive a good Customer Service, you forgive everything else, but for us and a lot of people that was the whole 2 weeks like us, these 2 weeks were too long.
