Ship Facts: Celebrity Constellation Review (by Cruise Critic!) | Celebrity Constellation Deck Plans
Treated like a nobody not like a Celebrity
What a difference two years make! From Celebrity "starring you" to Celebrity "designed for you" - newly renovated - but not there, where the ship really needed it. This was our 3rd cruise with Celebrity, 2008 on the Constellation, 2009 on the Equinox and this year on the Constellation again, because we loved the "old" ship very much.

The "welcome" was a nice room at first sight - then we found toothpaste and old soap in the bathroom-sink and a good two inch high dust underneath the TV. And so it went on - dirty glasses, dirty dishes, dirty ashtrays on deck 4, 10 and 11. The most disgusting thing where rests of food underneath the tables on the sunset deck - the first impression what you have, when you sit down for breakfast. Why did nobody see it, nobody cleaned it up? Nobody washed the deck down. Also the sunset deck with the charming wood-chairs, is not charming anymore, it's just old and this area needs a renovation very badly. The doors underneath the bar fell apart every day! On the port side the chairs had stains all over the covers, what few wooden chairs they had, the other lounge chairs were cheap plastic ones.

The food allover was nothing to talk about, for the formal dinner "mamas pork chops" - I don't think so. If we want to have pork chops, we would have booked another cruise line! Also the Specialty Restaurants were not that great - a lot of food - but nothing really arranged very nice or very tasty! Put quality before quantity.

Let's talk about Entertainment - was there any? Dancers o.k., but Band, Singers - just very, very poor! Every day the same songs - we will probably hear them for the next month! One word to shopping: who should buy all the new Guess-Collection? There were only older people on board.......Guess is for young people. Celebrity needs to do more research, needs to open the dining-area at the buffet on deck 10 again, needs to know, what their customers want - otherwise it's not "designed for your" it's designed for everyone and this should not stand for Celebrity!
