For anyone who has had more than 15 cruises within 5 years on RCI, you have noticed a decline in the quality and variety of food in Windjammers' and evening venues like Leonardo's, Adagio, Edelweiss etc. Those who are new to cruising will probably overlook this, because of the outstanding service and friendliness provided by the staff.

Most of the reviews have sufficiently covered all of the wonderful and innovative features of RCI's new ship, "Allure of the Seas", and there are indeed positives. I will therefore concentrate on several areas that I found to be rather lacking.

The gym was lacking the customary steam and sauna facilities that are available on other ships in the fleet. Of course, for an additional $150 (for 7 days) you were allowed use a sauna/steam-like room,.. that I found personally unacceptable.

Cabin Review

Family Ocean View Stateroom

The interior cabin space was adequate and well designed for one guest. I particularly liked the ipod station. The bed was comfortable. I was never in the cabin, except to recover, sleep, shower and rest. Next time, I will book a balcony for myself and a traveling companion.
