EMBARKATION

We flew into San Diego and took a taxi to the cruise ship port which is only about a 10 minute drive from the airport. It costs around $10.00. We arrived around 10:30 and were able to drop our baggage off and check in. This took just a few minutes. We then walked about 8 blocks to a Ralph's grocery store that we had already located and purchased two 12 packs of our favorite sodas and a couple of bottles of wine. When we returned to the ship, we were able to immediately board. We went up to the Lido area and had some lunch and within a short time an announcement was made that the cabins were ready. Our cabin was in an excellent location on the Main Deck. Our luggage arrived within a couple of hours.

Great location and very quiet. Our cabin was also always very cool which is to our liking. There was plenty of storage.
