This was our first cruise over the holidays. We weren't sure of what to expect as far as activities relating to Christmas. The ship was beautifully decorated; there was caroling and a Santa that brought gifts to all of the children. But, there is still no place like home for the holidays. We had no complaints about anything on the ship. Most of the ports were great to visit. We especially fell in love with Jost van Dyke. We booked the Sail escape to Jost van Dyke through NCL. The tour company is Tortola Charters. They were very organized from start to finish. The wife of the tour company was on board, and she and the captain provided information about the islands along the way. The sail over was very pleasant on a boat with an upper and lower deck, so you could choose to be in the sun or shade. They took us to White Bay, which has a beautiful beach with warm turquoise blue water. NCL had us sign a waiver attesting to the fact we could swim from the boat to the beach, but it was literally 8 feet from the beach where they dropped anchor. The captain carried our things to the beach in dry containers. The beach was not very crowded, but had a few bars that served lunch and sold t-shirts. There was not a single person in sight trying to sell you anything else like at other beach excursions. We felt very comfortable leaving our belongings by our chair unattended to walk and play down the beach. My daughter had a fabulous time finding hermit crabs, shells and fish out in the water. The water was very calm the day we were there, so swimming was great. If you are a Kenny Chesney fan, then you will know the song "Somewhere in the Sun" where he sings of a bar named Ivan's. Ivan's is a short walk down the beach from where the boat docks. We had a fantastic day on this excursion! I would highly recommend this company.

We did excursions through NCL in every port. The Cayo Levantado beach excursion was great. We participated in the sea lion encounter that was cool. The beach is beautiful, but the bar staff are constantly in your face trying to sell you drinks. We found lots of shells and beautiful sea glass.

Zip lining in Antigua was fun. I felt very safe with the procedures they had in place. We didn't see many beautiful places in Antigua on the drive to the forest, but I am sure they are there somewhere. We did the scenic railroad in St. Kitts, which took you around the coast line of the island. It was good, but I felt safer on the zip line than the train. It is very tall on a very narrow
