If the first impression of the EPIC is her size, the second would be the service by her staff. If any cruise company got it right, then NCL has done a brilliant job in training staff to be friendly, to resolve problems and remember who is paying their wages.
My wife has gluten free allegies and the work that these staff went to give her excellent food was incredible. In fact some of the food she got made me jealous and I wish I was getting the same meals. This is a first fro us on a cruise ship.
The food on board the ship is beautiful but the real value for money is in the buffet, not the paid resturants. We counted up to 80 food types that was on offer at lunch time and dinner in the buffet. And if you have special needs, they arrange on order to make you that special food in the buffet.
