This was a great cruise! I was really very happy with Millennium. We had a group of 10 including my Mom, sister and her fiancee, her two daughters (16 and 13), my Aunt and Uncle, my boyfriend and his Dad. We had a concierge class room on deck 9. My BF and I had just been on Millennium in May for an Alaskan repositioning cruise so I knew that I liked Millie, but I have to say certain things--dining--were even better this trip.

We stayed at the Sheraton Old San Juan one night precruise. (We flew a red-eye to San Juan from LAX). It's a great choice. Perfect location for walking around the historic area, and touring the forts. We had lunch our first day at Latin Roots behind the hotel. Tasty although a little expensive. We had dinner at Cafe Berlin. Pretty good too. My BF had the monfongo and it was good. The morning of our cruise we went to Bombonera for breakfast--not to be missed. The coffee and breakfast was really good. We left the hotel around noon to taxi to the ship. Pretty easy. A bit of a wait to drop off our luggage with the porters but after that no wait at all. We enjoyed our champagne and headed up to the buffet for lunch.

Rooms were ready at 1 as advertised. We had a concierge class balcony on deck 9. Nice room. Lots of storage. Nothing flashy. Our room attendant and his assistant were great. They were unobtrusive, but very friendly when we would see them in the hall. I also don't envy them cleaning up after my nieces who can be quite messy. :)
