Thankfully our check-in experience was great. We had VIP boarding, from curb to the Lido Deck took 30 minutes. The check-in personnel were great, very efficient. The bulk of the other passengers were herded like cattle through a maze of lines. If I had had to wait in that line, I would have turned around and left.

Once on the lido deck we were sent in the general direction of the tiny pool, after which we found a garishly decorated room with cafeteria style food stations, beverage stations, and absolutely no help from the staff to find a table. There were hoards of people lined up for a variety of foods, and the lines were slow moving. Signage was limited as to what was available.

At 1:30pm we were permitted access to our stateroom. It was located on the Veranda Deck, and looked much smaller than the on-line pictures. The balcony had two chairs, too large for the space. Both were paint spattered. We stacked them on top of each other so we had room to move around. There was a small table as well. The stateroom itself while small, was nicely decorated, however, the reading lamps were awkward to use. The linens were good quality, there were comfortable robes in the ample closets, a safe, and sufficient drawer space. The bath was what was expected. The two staff members assigned to our cabin were very helpful and kept our space in great condition throughout our stay. The overall decor of the public areas of the ship were tired and dated looking. The atrium looked like the interior of a pinball machine. Too much neon, smoked glass and mirrors everywhere. The dining room was similar, not quite as awful looking as the atrium. Food and Beverage: After our initial experience in the "feeding room" on the Lido deck, we decided to use the full service dining room as much as we could for the remainder of the cruise. Service in the dining room was great the staff remembered our names and gave us quick service. We had chosen the option of taking our meals at our own time schedule, and this worked out great. We really never had to wait for a table. The menus had a variety of foods prepared and served as expected. However, one night lobster was on the menu, and when it arrived, it was gray, mushy and uncooked. We sent it back, and received a replacement almost instantly, but it wasn't much of an improvement. We ate the parts of it that were cooked. Other meals in the dining room for breakfast and lunch were enjoyable.

Smaller than depicted online. Nice decor, comfortable beds, good quality linens. The balcony was tiny, the furniture on the balcony was too large for the space and had paint spots on it. Ample closet and drawer space. The reading lamps were awkward to use. The mini-fridge was a nice convenience.
