This is my first Princess cruise and I'm pleased to say it worked out really well.

Embarkation was very easy. I dropped my bags with the stewards, then drove to parking lot B and took an immediate shuttle to the ship. We were able to get on the ship at noon, and we quickly (about 100 people ahead of us) queued up and entered the ship after taking the obligatory welcome picture.

The ship is very tasteful - no Carnival neon to be found anywhere! Getting around the ship was relatively easy. We took a tour with Ryan on the first day and he provided hints and tricks to simplify navigating the various decks.
