Sail Date: Dec 2010
Cabin: Concierge Class 3

Our first cruise on Eclipse class was very good. The ship is beautifully maintained and generally did not feel overcrowded. There weren't many kids or teenagers around (week before Christmas break).

Pre-cruise: We flew from Toronto and stayed at the Comfort Inn Cruiseport (Sterling Rd.), which was adequate for one night with breakfast at $66 plus tax. They provided free shuttle from the airport and to the cruiseport the next morning. Embarkation was well organized.

Cabin: It was our first Concierge Class cruise (Deck 10) which was $100 more than Deck 6 balcony. We enjoyed the location, amenities and the layout with the bed near the entrance. We opted for the cheese tray each afternoon, which we enjoyed with the 2 bottles of wine brought on board at embarkation (purchased at K-Mart near the hotel).

Concierge Class 3

Cabin C3

Quiet location, unobstructed view almost 180 degrees in all directions, very comfortable bed near entrance, hard sofa, nice balcony. Great bathroom and shower head. Needed extra hangers, good fridge kept our water cold (steward cleared out the minibar).
