DW and I are in our early 50s and this was our third cruise on Carnival.
Our first two cruised we ended up in suites, so we had VIP check-in. This time we had a porthole cabin and were processed in and out with the rest of the herd--not as much fun.
The PT cabin was wonderful. The portholes gave us natural light during the day and a bit of a view at the price of an inside. I was a little nervous about the porthole cabin being so close to the bow of the ship. People say the ride is bumpier up front, and we had a couple of rocky nights, but I didn't notice much difference between the motion up front and in the rest of the ship. When our room was a rockin, so was the rest of the boat.
