We are in our mid 30's and have been on 13 cruises total, 8 with Carnival. We chose this cruise as a quick getaway, from a close by port at a great price. We expected what we got out of this cruise-relaxation.

We drove to Jax the day of departure. Parking was a breeze and we waited exactly one hour from car to ship. The reason for delayed lines was because most of the people boarding were not instructed to have ALL documents in hand, completed and ready to present. This slows down the flow of guests.

Once on the ship we went to our room which was adequate in size, an interior room on the upper deck. We met our steward Noli who was extremely nice and accommodating. The rooms have plenty of storage in the closets and drawers. Our suitcase fit perfectly under the bed. The beds were not as comfortable on this ship. One side of the bed was lower than the other causing a lump. Not enough to ruin our trip though:) Note there is NO hair dryer in the room.
