The NCL freestyle motto was put into full motion when the clutch had problems on the starboard engine. NCL rerouted the ships ports of call and sent many unhappy passengers into the Atrium for a shouting match that lasted for many hours, definitely a freestyle moment not printed on the days itinerary. The real winner was NCL profits. With less money spent on fuel and port charges passengers were given very little to compensate them for a mechanical error.
That being said, the food was not that great either. We dined in the restaurants that charge you a cover charge only to find surly matur'dees, bad waitresses and food worse than you would find in the main dining room.
The kids program was great and our son loved every minute, except the head kids counselor had a bad cold and we were sent home with a parting gift. Now our son knows first hand what air sick bags are used for, so does my wife.
