EMBARKATION: Arrived at the cruise terminal around 11:30, went through security and received my complimentary champagne by 11:45. Before my friends and I secured a comfy pool chair, a pool server had already offered us frozen beverages. It was a great afternoon relaxing by the pool while we waited for our room to be ready.

ROOM: I traveled with two of my friends and we shared room 5068. This is a handicapped-accessible room and, even though none of us are handicapped, Celebrity let us book this room. (We did make a notation on our reservation that we would move if someone who is handicapped needed the room.) Booking this room was a great move as our room was nearly double the size of the typical stateroom. The only downfall of an accessible room is the shower has no sills and the water gets all over the bathroom. We learned this after the first was taken and, as a result, all other showers were taken in the spa. It was no big deal and kind of nice to all be able to take showers at the same time instead of having to take turns with only one shower in our room. Room wasn't impeccable, but I'm not complaining. The beds were comfortable (even the bunk) and "BamBang" (sp) did a great job taking care of us.

DINING: We ate all dinners in the Grand Restaurant (6:00 seating). Our experience in the Grand Restaurant was awesome! We had the best servers - Swedish (sp) and Jackson. They catered to our every need and, if one of us didn't like what we ordered, they quickly replaced it. One night when I wasn't feeling well, they sent a plate of unseasoned mashed potatoes to my room! This was perfect for my upset stomach! Another evening I couldn't figure out what dessert I wanted, so they brought all of them to our table! We only ate breakfast during the brunch day. I have never seen such an elaborate brunch buffet in all my life. Not only was it beautiful with the chocolate fountain, ice sculptures, and fancy pastries, but it tasted awesome as well. Table location at the very back of the ship wasn't so great. The view out the window was nice, but the sound and vibration of the engines was annoying. The poolside grill was fine - nothing exciting or exceptionally good. Breakfast took place at the buffet on the top floor - it, too, was fine...nothing extravagant.
