This was our fourth cruise on Royal Caribbean and disappointing enough that we probably won't sail on them again. Nothing terrible happened but almost everything didn't measure up to expectations. On our first night, we were tired from traveling and went to sleep at 10pm. At 11pm there was a knock at our door- a persistent knock. When I arose and went to the door- it was a staff member giving me the next day's newsletter! After some thought, I felt uncomfortable and was worried that it was really someone up to no good. My husband called the operator and reported the incident. She laughed and said they work 24/7.

The cabin was ok but the bathroom always had an odor. Twice the toilet stopped working and a repair man had to be called. The closets are in an unfortunate place in the entrance to the room- so much better on Princess.

The food was really disappointing- particularly in the Windjammer- absolute slop. We had a couple of good meals in the Main Diningroom- but the rest were only adequate. Someone mentioned the Seaview Cafe in the middle of our trip and we went there. But again- not so good. OK for chips and salsa- but the fish and chips were nasty- and the crabmeat salad uneatable.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Closet in poor place. Bed comfy- Balcony good. Bathroom VERY small- Watch the shower- turned it on and staff had left it pointing out- right in my face- couldn't turn it off- sprayed the corridor and everything!!
