Sail Date: Oct 2010

This was our first Princess cruise and we had been told that they are a higher rated line than Carnival and P and O.and Costa which we had been on before.

The furnishings and decor were very tasteful and overall the areas were kept very clean.

We were both very disappointed with the meals in the main dining rooms and the buffet on the Lido deck. The reasons being - Dining rooms - the lack of choices on the menu, the quality of options in that lobster was only offered once on a 12 day cruise and the food was never really hot but lukewarm. The lido deck buffet area was very small for the size of the ship and the choices very limiting. Yes they did somewhat alternate the choices but overall the selections were just not there.

Cabin Review

Cabin EE

P222, being deck 5, was in a perfect location, close to the stairs, laundromat was about 10 cabins away. The lay out was attractive, huge walk in closet, fridge, flat screen T.V. safe, lots of storage, lots of mirrors which makes the cabin feel bigger. I have to say given it was somewhat under the Princess theatre it was very quiet. The only noise was when we arrived in port and they were lowering the anchor as this cabin is forward.
