Once we found the people mover at Pizzale Roma in Venice...embarkation onto the Splendour of the Seas was a breeze!
The ship is small and older without all the bells and whistles. However, we found her to be beautiful, clean and well taken care. We also found that there were sufficient activities to keep our multigenerational group (my parents late 60s, myself early 40s and my daughter 7) happy and occupied throughout our week long cruise.
All the staff were helpful, friendly and made us feel like VIPs. My daughter enjoyed the AO program and although there were not many kids on board, she managed to make a few friends.
