November Miracle Cruise

Sail Date: November 2010
Destination: Southern Caribbean
Embarkation: Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)

Boarding the ship was first rate. We sailed through the boarding process in less than an hour from start to finish.

our room was clean as was the rest of the ship, however the Miracle does need some updating on furnishings, mattress', furniture in the public areas were quite worn.

The ship is easy to get around on, the pools small, outside decks wide and easy to get around on.

Positives: friendly wait staff, best soups and desserts of any cruise, coffee seemed to be better than in the past, very clean.

Negatives: Food got boring after 8 days at sea, shows could have been a little better. way to much smoke in the Casino to enjoy gambling for any length of time.Ice cream machines were more like frozen milk and very watery.

Departure for us was a nightmare as we were chosen along with several others to have immigration go thru our luggage while on board. Several of us were asked to wait on board while our passports were taken and then lead More down into a holding area where we waited to have our luggage inspected. Less

Cabin review: Carnival Miracle Balcony Verandah 7337

Cabin 7337 Quiet, good balcony, great view. Room is at the aft of the ship just below the main dining and buffet

Port and Shore Excursions

This was our favorite Island it reminded me of Hawaii, very green with open mountain sides, beautiful views. We did the batik and Fort tour and really enjoy it all.

St Lucia is a very green tropical Island, however we visited the Island just after a hurricane had hit her and found quite a bit of devastation durning our tour. Our Tour guide was very well informed and very good at her job. Wish we could have seen the island before the hurricane however.

St. Maarten is for the shop till you drop people. We opted for the sea and see tour through Carnival which we enjoyed. Got to see some of the Dutch and French sides and then go underwater to view a reef and different fish.
