After reading some of the reviews on NCL's EPIC, we were wondering if we had made a mistake in booking this cruise.
Our fears were groundless. The EPIC is a beautiful ship with a very friendly crew. We saw reviews stating that the crew was "rude". We have found in our travels that if you treat staff and natives with respect, you will get the same treatment in return. We feel that the EPIC's staff is first rate.
The food in the "pay" dining areas that we sampled were excellent. We dined in Moderno, Cagney's and the French restaurant "Le Bistro".
The balcony cabin is long and narrow. The curved walls were interesting. In spite of the bad reviews, we had no problems with the sink, toilet and shower locations.
There is a lot of storage space. The TV and telephone were excellent. The bed is very short, but it wasn't a real issue. We always have slept well on cruises.
