We had great weather on our cruise. The average temperature was 8-10 degrees above normal in the ports we visited.

The buffet in the Windjammer Lounge was a disappointment though. For breakfast it is just about impossible to get hot toast. There is not a machine that cruisers can use but an employee toasting. He toasts a few slices at a time until he has a try to put out, so all the toast is cold by then. There is an egg station which is handy and makes omelets to order. Waffles and pancakes share the same fate as toast. One morning we ate in the dining room expecting custom made breakfast. What in fact happened was the server brought cold pancakes from the buffet.

The Minstrel Lounge had a better outcome, while not selecting the featured entrEes one third of the nights, the alternatives were satisfactory. The desserts were somewhat disappointing as two nights I passed on dessert. I remember an earlier RCI cruise where I had 2 desserts half the time.
