We have cruised five times and on three different cruise lines. Mid 50's, no children and we enjoy using the Spa and Thermal Suite facilities. We had a great time. We seldom do the buffet other then just needing a light lunch or snack to hold us over. Loved the specialty restaurants and the two main dining rooms. How do they make a perfect Eggs Benedict every morning! I love them. The staff in the dining rooms are so charming. "Sharkbait" and "Oh What a Night" were great entertainment. There were many more entertainers, but these two groups were fantastic! Our Captain Lars Bengtsson did a presentation on how the ship works, all its special mechanisms and even did a question and answer section to his presentation. That was another highlight of our trip. The Captain really had a dry but great sense of humor. He kept telling all of us to use protection and I don't think he was just talking about sun screen! We loved him! The food was the best of any ship we have been on. Pass on the Chocolate Buffet. Too many people and the desserts in the regular restaurants are much better! We had lobster many nights, it was served perfectly. Many great meal selections and I loved the many soups and appetizers! I must say the Pearl management team does a great job with their crew. Took our own bags off when it was time to disembark around 9:30am and had no lines. Just walked off with no delays. Went very well.

Our room was the cheapest inside cabin- unassigned. We ended up being in room 8121. Asked for Down pillows and they showed up in a few hours and were wonderful. Commented to the Hotel Management that they had no cranberry juice other then in the restaurant dining room at breakfast and came back to a large pitcher of cranberry juice in our cabin frig! Wow! Loved the location off the main lobby area and 24 Hour Cafe for our room, but you do get noise from the bar/bowling alley down stairs at night. If you want quiet late at night I would pick another locations without a bar right below it. The Thermal Spa was wonderful and we spent a couple hours a day working out and relaxing in the various hot tubs, pools and saunas. We wish they had a movie theater, but you can't have everything or you would never want to go home! I am already planning the next cruise on NCL. We love Freestyle Cruising!

8121 is right above the bowling alley and bar area. You can hear the loud music at night, but I loved the locations that is close to the main dining room two floors down, fresh coffee 24 hours a day in the Blue Lagoon Cafe and close to the Atrium area. Room is small, but plenty of space for two adults on a week cruise. We actually had storage room we did not use. Stuffed our suit cases under the bed.

Emptied the frig and used it all week for juices, ice tea etc. It is a standard interior room. The hallways were very very quiet as they dead end and are not through freeways on floors where everyone walks to get from one end of the ship to the other. I called floor 10 and 11 our freeways to the Spa on the Bow of the ship.
