We booked 2 week back to back cruise. The first 7 days were just OK (see details below)but the second week turned out to be a complete copy of the first week. The big shows at night were the same, bands played same songs in lounges, every menu was the same ,movies repeated, activities, trivia contests(same Q&A) ,craft programs were identical to week before, same pictures, only the ports we stopped in were different. Needless to see we were disappointed & bored by the sameness. Would never do again or recommend this trip. FOOD: It was "strange" , cheese pizza with corn or asparagus. We only saw shrimp bigger the 1/2 inch once on whole cruise & that was only 3 pieces. All steaks were overcooked & tough. Chicken was dry & flavorless. Salmon was consistently good, all other fish was not. I like pasta al dente but not crunchy. The food was usually lukewarm when we got it in dining room. The cafeteria food was just that. The selections made no sense(Beef Stroganoff but no noodles)Excellent bread & salads. The CAPTAIN'S FORMAL GALA consisted of poor quality champagne, fruit punch & potato chips ! ROOMS:Couldn't change rooms. Our inside cabin had pushed together twins & 2 fold-down beds in big boxes on walls. Kept hitting my head on the boxes when I would get up in middle of night. After getting two huge bumps on my head & bruise over my eye, they finally downgraded us to a room with only 1 box on the wall. It took them 3 days & I had to threaten to sleep in reception area SERVICE: Huge language difficulties but overall crew was friendly & competent. They have an automatic $12.50 per person per day service charge added to your final bill, and 18% to every drink order ENTERTAINMENT: amateurish, dancers posed, little variety, no comedy, same performers every show. Acrobats were very good but not night after night. Classical trio was also excellent. Lounge music always VERY loud. CRAFT PROGRAMS :no preparation ,understaffed, not enough supplies. POOLS/HOTTUBS: closed at 6PM, no adult only areas, "lukewarm" not "hot" tubs. OVERALL: Ship was beautifully decorated, nice public areas. Photographers were pushy & backgrounds were all fake. Why??

Cabin Review

Cabin 3

Inside cabins have dangerous fold down beds mounted to walls on either side of the main bed, They are closed (when not used) but still stick out about 10 inchs from wall. I almost gave myself a concussion when I got out of bed first night. After getting two huge knots on my head & dark bruise over my eye I told them I was afraid to sleep in my room. Finally after three days, I told them I was sleeping on couch in reception area. They down graded us to a noisy room next to a storage area the crew used constantly and a service corridor. I had to sign a paper in order to get that room, but at least I wasn't slamming my head when I had to get up in middle of night. I talked to other passengers who said they had similar experiences. Some moved the beds apart or turned them around in order to keep from being hurt.
