*The Windjammer is absolutely chaotic if you happen to go at the wrong time of day, and some of the lounges/bars seem overcrowded at certain times too. I can't understand people wanting to eat in the Windjammer every evening off plasic plates overloaded with frozen chips, pizza and Mashed Potatoes...?
*Some guests just can’t seem to grasp how to use elevators never fail to amaze me, situated on a lower deck it was sometimes a pain to use them especially at peak times of the day…
*Every single port of call at least 1 guest was late back for the ships departure for no apparent reason other than they didn’t respect the rules that 3500 had obeyed that day… why wait for them!?
*The jury is out on how the ship handles… often in only moderate seas it seemed very turbulent? Which I’ve not experienced on some ships that are only a fraction of the size.
*Sometimes alcoholic drinks weren’t always served ice-cold, which considering the amount white wine & lager costs onboard– is very disappointing.
*Very little ‘value’ to be had in the way of alcoholic drinks – massively overpriced, watch out for some cheaper than listed wines in the Windjammer (still $21+) and the drink of the day (purely for the chance to take home a nice souveneer glass supposedly worth $4.95)
*ESPN is a great tool for English Football fans, you’ll end up seeing more premier league matches than you would at home (if you so wish)!
