i'm not going to write a liyany about pre and post cruise hotels because this is about the cruise, not the hotels, and, nobody cares about how wonderful or tragic a hotel stay is pre cruise, if they were, they would be reading "hotel reviews", anyway, here goes.
Embarkation was quick and painless, walked in, checked in and was on the ship in less than 10 minutes. We found our cabin to be more than we had expected, our cabin steward was awesome.
The food was exceptional, only problem was 1 night the ship lost power to the kitchens that cook for the specialty restaurants, our money was refunded and a second night was booked(free), the manager felt so bad that he gave us a bottle of wine to take back to our cabin, and sent another bottle the following morning, the food was well worth the wait.
The buffets were typical buffet food, very delicious, hot foods were hot, cold foods were cold.
We didn't use the gym, we never left the ship so I can't comment on those, entertainment was just that...entertainment, I wont comment because what someone thinks is great, someone else thinks is "lacking" so to speak.
The ship is kept very clean and we found the crew to be very personable. We will definitely sail with Princess again.
