EMBARKATION
flew on british airways 2 days before and stayed in south beach, then local bus to the port. very easy embarkation one of the best. went to the oceanview cafe for lunch which was quite crowded so ended up in the scorching sun. then went to my cabin to unpack.
CABIN
7223 on deck 7 balcony. lovely view from balcony, drawer space very limioted only 5 drawers! sofa not very comfortable! min bar and safe and bathroom with nice shower.
DINING
Was in main dining room with 4 others very nice people. ordered sirloin steak which changed into prime roast! but waiter did say sorry, dessert was creme brulee quite good. 2nd night i had quail which was not to my taste.
QSINE was something else! managed to get there through a friend who had booked a table and kindly asked me to join her. too many courses but so well presented, worth every penny!
SHOWS
the best i have seen on any ship, OVATIONS on the 1st night was all the shows, very well done. 2nd nt was the comedian also very good. 3rd was cirque de soleil very well done.
EXCURSIONS
NONE DONE
DISEMBARKATION
very easy but spoiled by customs in the port queued for ages and people pushed in and nobody did anything about it, there was nearly a fight! i was even searched!
SMOKING
no inside smoking of cigars, so i bought cigarette tobacco so i could use the observation lounge only to find some group smoking cigars and nobody said anything about it.
ALL IN ALL
A GREAT CRUiSE
