We had booked this cruise 9 months out and booked a large balcony stateroom. 2 adults, 2 kids aged 2 and 4. The check-in in New Orleans was smooth. Nice women checking us in. On the ship and in our room within 30 minutes. Our attendant was William. Excellent service from him. Rooms always made up, towel animals for the kids and extra towels.

Our waiter Alex was a true professional. It was just too bad that he did not have the best product to work with. First night's dinner was comparable to a low class supper buffet. I ordered the prime rib and might as well ordered an old shoe. Mediocre food at best the entire cruise. The Windjammer dinning area had the same food as the dining room and was usually better. The pizza may as well have been Tortino's. No sushi the entire cruise. Breakfast was same menu every day. 2 kinds of sausage, one supposedly turkey, I hesitate to guess what kind of animal the other type was. Bacon was hit or miss, either totally hard cooked or raw and stuck together. Scrambled eggs that were like soup. The dining room was hit or miss also. Lunch varied a little but it seemed like I was on an Asia food cruise, lots of curries and Indian dishes. Pasta actually was cooked al dente in the Windjammer. I ordered the linguini and clam sauce, came to me dried out and stuck together. Sent that back ordered the turkey dinner figured you can't mess that up, they did. Having 2 small children mac and cheese was normally a good bet, except on this cruise. Picture elbow macaroni with a slice of Kraft singles on top.

The ship itself is in disrepair. The wood around the hot tubs was missing areas and was a safety hazard. The women's bathroom by the Windjammer was constantly overflowing. The wood in the pool had a screw sticking up and was loose. Carpet pulled up in the pools area.
