This was the first cruise from United States for this ship and it showed in service. The ship was immaculate, well appointed, with good passenger flow. There were some dining room growing pains such as waiters not knowing the table locations, maitre d' not at post while attending to issues. Nothing earth shaking, and I'm sure it will be polished as the crew matures. The food was well presented. Not the best food I've had on a cruise, but acceptable.
Cabin staff was excellent.
The first night show was an ensemble production of Broadway toons. Well done and very entertaining. The second night featured a physical comedian and a female impressionist (she took pains to remind us she was an impressionist, not a female impersonator LOL). She too was great. There were a lot of folks on board in the afternoon of the Nassau stop and again not much activity. A band at the pool would have been nice. One appeared at 4 PM. They were very good.
Cabin is well appointed, but felt small. Long and narrow with little space in passageways between furniture. Good location, quiet. Shower stall was adequate and amenities were there. Seemed like there would not be enough drawer space for longer voyages. Closets and hangers were excellent. Couch was not comfortable. Well decorate, good light and ventilation. Verandah was small but adequate.
