Ship Facts: Carnival Miracle Review (by Cruise Critic!) | Carnival Miracle Deck Plans
Carnival didn't disappoint
We booked this trip directly with a Carnival Vacation Planer due to the fact that we needed to book side by side cabins.

Embarkment was smooth as usual and we were on the ship within an hour.

Our cabins were on the Panorama deck and had an extended balcony which was very nice. Since we were directly under the Lido deck there was some noise coming from the chairs moving around. The cabins are spacious and there its lots of storage space. The only issue we had was with the air-condition. After we tried anything and everything...even calling maintenance to turn it off, we gave up. The air kept blowing and it was quite noisy at night. Our friends in the cabin next to us had the same problems.

That was the ONLY issue we had on this whole cruise. The staff was exceptional..from the housekeeping to the waiters...special thanks to Igusti who tried so hard to pronounce our German names right!

The ship is in very good shape and we loved the decor and all the areas inside and on the deck.

The food was outstanding...we used the buffets during the day for breakfast and lunch and went into the dining room for supper.

Since this was our 5th cruise, we weren't to sure how much repetition we would encounter when it came to the entertainment, but besides the Newlywed Game which is a classic on every cruise ship, the shows were well diversified and having a Comedy Club now, is a great idea. We went there a few times and it was always packed! There was also a magician on board...nice touch..we had a lot of fun with him in the dining room.

Also Malcom the cruise director was a lot of fun...huuuhuuuu

We had 3 scheduled ports on this trip...St. Maarten, which we visited before and just did some shopping there....St. Lucia, where we did the Kayaking trip to Pigeon Island which was well worth the money. Our last port was suppose to be St. Kitts, but the day before a group of cruises were robbed at gunpoint and therefore Carnival decided to cancel this port. We were advised at 5.00 pm the day before and it was impressive how they were able to secure a different port (we went to Antigua the next day instead) and offer shore excursions for this port in such a short time frame.

We used the gym daily and I had one Spa treatment which was well worth the money as well.

Overall we had a great time on board this ship and would certainly cruise on the Miracle again. We always compare prices before we book our next cruise so far Carnival always had the best deal.
