Best cruise yet out of 11 past cruises! Carnival Dream was great! Shows were good, one was best we ever saw, one was ok! Thought it would be a problem with lines, but were pleasantly surprised that even though its one of their biggest ships, lines were not an issue at any point!
Ports of Call, Cozumel was good, took the Ferry over to the mainland which was interesting and seemed busier then Cozumel. Car Rental is best cost effective way to get around the island (one road about 60 miles long circles the island) and some great beach bars along the way for hitting the beach or the water.
Belize and Cave Tubing was the highlight of the cruise. www.cave-tubing.com was half the price of the Carnival Tour, it was longer and I can't imagine the Carnival Tour guides being any funnier or better then cave-tubing.com ... We're loyal Carnival Cruisers, but if you want one of the best adventures, best prices (half of Carnivals price) sign up with these people. Speedo and Richard were our guides and were fantastic! First Class operation from the time they meet you with you name on a sign. Free Lunch afterwards, and a free drink on the buss on the way! Bring as little as possible with you, but a camera is a must! These guys do it with a passion! Speedo and Richard were our Guides and were Great!
2237 on the dream! Can hear the late night show music from the Encore Theater. But wasn't much of a problem as we were up late most night anyway.
