This was our first cruise (honeymoon). We are both in our early 50's and felt this would be the right cruise to start with. I will not go into the detail that some reviews have. Instead I will respond to anyone's direct question(s).

I relied heavily on boards such as this one before we made our choice. I was impressed by the amount of positive comments I read on Celebrity and the Century in particular.

We sailed out of Fort Lauderdale on 11/13/04. We were both extremely impressed with the ship itself. It was immaculate. Someone was always cleaning. The food was good to excellent. Anyone that cannot find something to their liking (food wise) on this ship will never be satisfied with anything. We both thought that the entertainment (singers and dancers, bands, etc.) was very good. Not up to Vegas standards but good never-the-less. Read more
