We had multiple problems from the beginning and found the staff rude and unresponsive. Two weeks before the cruise, we found out that the third person in the room had to sleep in a bunk bed which, by the way, was situated in such a way that it interfered with the 2 lower beds. You would sit up and bump your head whether the bunk was open or closed. There was no documentation to state we were getting a bunk bed and we assumed (nor did the Princess representative tell us) that it was a sofa bed. We also asked for foam crates and extra down pillows which we never received even after asking multiple times on board. We were told that someone would contact us so we could upgrade but they never called us back to confirm another cabin. Our room steward didn't drop the bed or put the ladder near the bed to climb up on many nights so we had to.
Our food was delivered raw many times even though we asked for well done. We also asked for a low salt diet and the food was salty. The biggest issue I had was with the anytime dining. We went into the Da Vinci dining room at 6 pm, which is not really a popular time, and were told we couldn't eat there even though that is one of the assigned rooms for anytime dining.
I had heard from other platinum members that once you are on your 5th cruise, you can request some perks for the cruise that is your fifth and we went to the circle host and he refused to accommodate us. I also referred my sister and we were each to get $25 which we never received. The Circle host was supposed to research and leave a message but never did.
