This was our second cruise on the Legend the first being two years ago. The difference is service, the condition of the ship and cuts made by Carnival was obvious. The ship was not a clean the second time around, carpets had large stains both in our Stateroom and in the numerous hallways we walked around. Corners, and artwork work were dusty.

The food on the Lido deck is still plentiful, meaning you can eat as much as you want but the selections have been cut in 1/2. We chose to only eat two meals in the main dining room as the food was undercooked, they actually served duck medium rare.

Since Carnival has not really increased stateroom prices they hit you up for every thing possible, if Carnival wants to save money they should offer picture viewing through your state room instead of printing thousands of pictures that people do not buy. A message in the cabins states that Carnival is going green- not the case as evidenced by the excessive waste of paper and ink. The ports were fine and Carnival still offers much to do, though we like to venture out on our own to save money, we went cave tubing in Belize for 1/2 the price that Carnival charges. In Grand Cayman we did the Sea Trek through Carnival at a 100.00 pp, we were told by the people running the excursion that Carnival prohibits them from taking pictures for you, for experiance was wonderful, but for 100.00 for something that lasts only an hour, actually 20 minutes of underwater time, to walk away without the opportunity to purchase pictures was very dissapointing.
