Cruised Nov 7-14, 2010. My husband and I traveled to the port from our home in St. Augustine 3 hours away. The unloading area at the port was a little confusing as the security staff had orange cones positioned so a car could not turn into the area to drop off the luggage. We assumed it was for security and wondered how we were going to get all our bags from the parking garage to check in. We ended up going past and turning around and this time the car ahead of us motioned to the security officer that he wished to get thru. The officer removed the cones and we following in behind the car. We unloaded the bags, my husband went to park the car and I hailed a porter to collect our bags.

We had arrived around 10:30 so it wasn't crowded checking in at all. We did have to wait until 11:30 to board but since we had a zone 1 card, we got on shortly after that and was able to get a comfortable table at the Lido buffet. We brought on board, in our carryon bag, two 12 packs of soda and a 12 pack of water. No issues there.

The ship's decor was more elegant than I expected. It was very clean and showed little signs of wear. Twice during the cruise our balcony railing glass was cleaned. The room was good size with plenty of storage and a larger than expected bathroom. No flooding and good water pressure. We tipped the steward when we first met him and asked he keep a small cooler we had brought filled with ice which he did twice a day. Cabin was extremely quiet being sandwiched in between two cabin decks. In addition, it was located behind the mid ship elevators. So there were no cabins across the hall and when people were returning to their cabins after coming off the elevators they would either turn to the right or left to go down the hall and did not pass in front of our cabin. Fortunately, most people around us were conscientious about not slamming their balcony doors. From the balcony we were able to see flying fish and dolphins jumping out of the water as we headed out of one of the ports. Really thrilling!
