This was me and my hubby's 1st cruise. We went with a group of 8 other family members who had been on Carnival cruises before. We had a blast! The 1st day was a little over whelming by the size and me getting lost a couple of times. The ship was beautiful and very well maintained. The staff was wonderful and always smiling. The food wasn't the best, but I never went hungry. The reuben sandwiches and pizza was excellent. The room service was prompt and courteous. We enjoyed the shows and comedians. We had one bartender that we ran into frequently and he would tell us all about his country and answer any questions. He wanted to open his own bar in his country and he even made me one of his creations that was very yummy. He was the best. He knew our names and what drinks we always ordered. I was very impressed that he would take the time to talk with us for long period of times. Dinner was a little disappointing because I really didn't care for the food. But then again, I am a very picky eater.lol. The desert was always very tasty. I was going to get a coke card that I was told was 25.00, but it winded up being around 34.00 and I opted out. I only had tea once and it was horrible. But the coffee, juice, milk and fresh lemonade was excellent. We went to Nassau, Bahamas on the 3rd day. Getting on and off board was no problem. I chose not to do excursions and to just do shopping. I was a little disappointed at the shops. The locals were nice but everybody had the same thing. Some of group went to see Atlantis and they said it was beautiful and worth every cent. I will definitely try the excursions next time. We went to Key West on the 4th day. It was total chaos getting off the boat and a lot of tempers flaring for the long wait. But Key West was amazing. I had a blast and had no problems getting back on the boat. I chose again to do shopping and was impressed with all the stores. Their are a couple of excursions I will definitely do next time. My sister and her boyfriend went to a museum and was very fascinated with the things they saw. I would love to try it next time. The staterooms were very nice and the beds were comfortable. Our rooms were cleaned twice a day and our steward was very friendly. Guest services was also very helpful and friendly. The night we got back from Key West, they had a party on the deck and I actually got up there and danced. It was so much fun. All and all we had the best time and will definitely go again. Thanks for the memories, carnival!!!!!! Can't wait to go again.
