We booked this cruise to celebrate my 50th birthday. On checking in we arrived on board and made our way to the poolside area where it was very hectic and loud music was playing - it was the welcome party. We were tired after a long day of travelling and so were a bit jaded - forgive the pun! We were wondering if this was the tone of what was ahead.
Needn't have worried, although breakfast time is busy and you may have to share a table with other passengers, you still have the option of waiter service in the Grand Pacific Restaurant where it is much quieter and you can have your own table.
All in all the boat, staff, accommodation, food and entertainment were top knotch. We had a fantastic holiday and will definitely book again with NCL.
Personally we liked the mix on nationalities on board the ship it added to the experience. Yes the drinks are pricey but they include service charges and they are not that much different to hotel prices in the UK. You will not find friendlier or more attentive staff.
