Background Information: My DH and I have been on two RCI cruises (Caribbean, Bermuda) together, and I was on one to Bermuda as a child with my family. Our four-year son had been to Walt Disney World once and loved it. We thought the time was right to try a DCL cruise. We spent 3 more nights at WDW after the cruise. Oh, and I was 23 weeks pregnant.

Hotel Info: We stayed at the Country Inn & Suites hotel at Port Canaveral for the night before embarkation. We had a ground floor room, which was beautiful, clean and spacious, with high ceilings and apparently new furnishings and fixtures. We loved it. The pool area was lovely; our son really enjoyed the wading pool with a tall fountain to play in. The complementary breakfast in the morning was adequate, but there was nowhere near enough room or seating for everyone. Breakfast was my only complaint.

Travel To Port of Embarkation: We arrived at Orlando Int Airport the day before embarkation. We rented a car and drove without incident to our hotel. The hotel also offered complementary shuttle transportation to the port in the morning, only requiring preregistration and picking a departure time. The bus was filled but the transfer went very smoothly, and the driver was friendly and enthusiastic.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Inside Stateroom

Cabin 10B

Room 2075 had a trunk storage cabinet. The room was clean, but starting to show considerable wear. Everything was in working order. The bathroom was spotless. No noticeable noise inside or outside the cabin. Great central location for minimal motion
