We almost skipped this cruise because of the past reviews. I'm so glad we didn't pass it up because this ship was delightful. It was easy on easy off at every port with helpful crew and an icy towel and drink on the way back into the ship. The room was a good size with more storage than I even needed. The bathroom was big enough for us to brush our teeth together. The veranda was a nice size and everything seemed fresher than expected. The room was cleaned twice a day with fresh towels and candy at turn down. The tv was a bit outdated but we didn't come to watch tv anyway. The food was excellent. We always found a variety. The dinner each night was wonderful also. The favorites were on one side of the menu and something new each night on the other side of the menu. The wait staff was very professional and talked to us in a friendly manner each night. We did not frequent the shows but we did hear the comedian one night and we thoroughly enjoyed his act. The pool butlers kept the pool area very clean and chairs and towels were plentiful. The ship did not look tired as some others claim. I thought the decor was pleasant and tasteful. I appreciated that the photographers were not pushy at the ports or on the ship. The musical group " Magnitude" was really good. We did follow them to the different areas they played in. They had just the right music for the pool crowd and knew just how to get the party started. This was really an older crowd but I'm so glad I didn't miss it!!!
Great cabin size. There is a life boat under the veranda but this does not distract from the view of the sea. Great location to elevators at mid ship. You get off right at the pool or buffet dining on deck 10.
