This was our fourth cruise and second with Carnival. We weren't expecting too much with it being just 4 nights but we were pleasantly surprised!
We drove to the port, parked and were on the ship at 11:30am. We walked around and had lunch before the rooms were ready at 1:30pm. Lunch was good (salads, deli sandwiches made to order, hot items.
The ship is in great shape for an older ship. The only wear and tear we saw was the two atrium elevators not working. Everything else was excellent. It's very flashy (think disco purple) but that's the part of leaving reality that we liked! It's pretty tacky but not offensive.
