This was my first cruise with Princess. I really enjoyed cruising with them. Their staff was very friendly and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. From the time I arrived on the ship to the last day, the service was great. Entertainment on the ship was enjoyable as well. They had things for everyone. I know it is a big ship, but I didn't think it was too big. Things were spread out nicely so you didn't feel crowded at all. I wanted to express the special dining options. Sabatini's is worth the cover charge. We ended up going twice. The food and service excelled and was amazing. Especially considering it was on a cruise ship. I recommended it! Another amazing experience was the Chef's Table. If you get the chance to take part, it is worth every penny. It was probably the highlight of my cruise.

Room: We got a great price on a mini-suite. With a full bath, it is worth the extra room in the shower. The extra sitting room is great too. I would recommend if you want some extra privacy on the balcony avoid booking on the dolphin deck. Lots of sun exposure, but not a lot of privacy. James, our room steward, did a great job keeping the room clean. Especially after I tramped lots of sand in the room after a breezy day at the beach.

Excursions: Lots of great adventures in the ports. St. Thomas - I did the Sonny Liston Tour. Only planned 2 hours of shopping, but surprisingly it wasn't enough. Lots of great shopping and deals. There are many similar tours, but Sunny does make it much more entertaining. Tortola - Did the Baths at Virgin Gorda with the cruise ship. Went in the morning and it wasn't as busy. Worth the trip, and enjoyed the adventure of maneuvering through the boulders. Plus there was a fresh water pool at the top of the Baths so you could freshen up before the trip back. Antigua - Beautiful, Beautiful, Beautiful Beaches. I recommend the off roading with the 4x4 land rover. Tracked through the rainforest, tasted tropical fruit, saw beautiful beaches and ended up at Turner's Beach. Not very crowded, had a bar and you were able to rent chairs if you wanted. The water was an amazing aqua blue. Very calm waters and had a great time. Driver even took me by Valley Church Beach which is a place I wanted to see. Didn't get to go to St. Lucia because of Hurricane Tomas However, the cruise ship was great to re-position us to St. Kitts. Shopping is great here, and is just steps from the port. We weren't there too long, so I didn't get a chance to check out the rest of the island. There are lots of taxis and tours around outside the port if you want to take a look around. Lastly, went to Barbados. Did the Swim with Turtles and Snorkel. It was quite the experience. Whether you do it through the cruise line or on your own, it is a great time.

Cabin Review

Cabin AD

Booked a mini-suite. Great bathroom considering it was a cruise ship. Having a full bath makes a world of difference. Especially on a 7 day cruise. Felt like there was lots of space and storage in the room. Just a warning the Dolphin Deck Balconies are completely uncovered. I thought it was okay as I love the sun, but it really doesn't offer any privacy. I felt like all of the other balconies were looking down into mine. Next time, I will book on a different level.
