Flew Air Tran to San Juan, sure glad Southwest Airlines are buying out Air Tran. As I would never fly Air Tran again. We arrived San Juan on Saturday
10-30-10, stayed Hampton Inn, very nice hotel for the price and full breakfast
in the morning. Sunday 10-31-10, boarding Carnival Victory at 12:30.
Bought Wine and Cig's at the duty free shop just before boarding ship. They were cheaper there then on board the ship.
By 1:57PM had our first pool trident (drinks). Luggage was in room by 3:00pm
Halloween night was a blast on Lido (9) deck. That's were we had our balcony room, close to the pool, bar and food.
Hit 6 ports of call, the only two that worth stopping at was St Thomas and
St Maarten. St. Maarten was the BEST shopping.
Food, entertainment poor quality. Bar and room stewards were excellent. Breafast was the best meal.
The Carnival Victory catered to the Puerto Ricans There was quite a few that
were loud,obnoxious and rude.
I will never take a Cruise out of San Juan, Puerto Rico or recommend this cruise to anyone.
If you want to just see St.Thomas and St.Maarten then fly out of Florida.
