• Background Information We are a 59 and 60 year old couple. We began cruising back in 1986 on Royal Caribbean's Nordic Prince which is still our benchmark cruise experience. This was our first Princess cruise, the first cruise where we knew someone before setting foot on the ship, and the largest ship to date that we have sailed on.

• Hotel Info (if any) Holiday Inn Express Ste Foy. We stayed 2 nights pre-cruise. We explored Old Quebec City using three walking tours. Very tired by the time we returned to the hotel late Saturday night. The hotel's location was at least 15 to 20 minute drive each way by car. We relied on taxis but mass transit was available if one cared to spend the extra time walking to bus stops. The hotel was very clean, quiet and offered complimentary breakfast service. I recommend it if you have a car available.

• Ship Info Crown Princess was very clean and excellently maintained. I liked the lounge choices throughout the ship which was critical since the cold weather forced many of the older passengers inside. It could be difficult finding an occupied chair. Weather warmed up by the Boston stop.

Excellent layout for an inside cabin. The dressing area / closet space was excellent.
