There were 12 of us in our party and all of us were extremely disappointed with the ship, most of the staff, entertainment, and accomodations. My daughter even had a Penthouse suite and its only saving grace was the large balcony it had. I have never been on a ship where you are paying $10-$12 for drinks and they can't even put out pretzels, peanuts, goldfish crackers maybe at the bars?? How costly could that be?? Oh my gosh - cheap!!

We had to beg for a coffee pot in our room when we learned that they were in other rooms in our party. We were told our room doesn't get one?? That just added insult to injury already. The food was consistenly cold unless you were getting an omelet made for you at one of the buffet stations. The on-board entertainment left a lot to be dessired as well. It was just short of "stale."

Let's talk about the different "NCL mascots" they had waiting outside at the ports for you to take a picture with. Those were the most pitiful and raggedy costumes I have ever seen representing a cruise line. For those in my party who were "first time" cruising - it was not a "wonderful" experience as it should have been. In fact everyone in my group found the ship and service substandard to say the best. I am not a chronic complainer but believe me when I say that the complaints were numerous on the ship coming from other people from various places.

Cabin Review

Obstructed Oceanview

Cabin OK

Our cabin was horrible. From the very onset in working with a cruise line agent we were told we would be given a room that would accomodate three adults. Meaning a room with at least 2 fold out "bunk style" beds from the wall. Instead we were given a room that was tiny with a fold out couch that butted up next to the 2nd bed and at the foot butted up against the small desk area in the room. So I literally would have to crawl over the person in the bed next to me if I wanted to go to the rest room or wherever. I can't imagine the entire ship was sold out but in any case when we took our problem to the front desk - they were indifferent and down right arrogant. Not to mention the ship is old and not "modernized" at all.
