After reading the reviews and boards on Cruise Critic, I had very high expectations for our first cruise and our expectations were definitely exceeded. My H is 32 and I am 28 so I hope that other younger and first-time cruisers find my review helpful. We chose Aquaclass for access to the facilities and to Blu dining. We cruised to the E. Caribbean out of Fort Lauderdale.

Embarkation and Disembarkation: very efficient and easy

Overall Impression of the Ship: The Solstice is BEAUTIFUL. I have seen some pictures of other cruises our friends have been on and I was so turned off by the cheesy and tacky decor, but this is definitely not the case here. All of the restaurants and lounges were lovely and looked like high end places on land. Pools are small (I never even got in), but the solarium is a nice and relaxing retreat.

Cabin Review

AquaClass 1

Cabin A1

Not too much noise; there is an overhang over the balcony which we liked for the shade; sofa next to balcony
