Well, lets see, I honestly did enjoy the cruise there's just a few things that I would have changed but I did try it. First, I felt the coke program was expensive only because when I went to get a coke at night only the Seaview cafe was open for food after 11:00, on deck 11 and that if I wanted a coke to go with my pizza I would have to go down the deck and up 1 deck to the Vortex Lounge to get one. I figured if I was getting food there and they sold coke there that I should have been able to get a coke with my card. Also, I don't know if it was me, but my husband agreed with me that the coke tasted real bad, almost like a chemical( maybe what they washed the glasses with)this was only in the little bars that were around. The coke was good in the dinning areas. Second, I would never take the time dinning to eat, but we were with family members and that's what they wanted. I was more happy with the windjammer cafe and there food selection I thought was outstanding. Next time I'll opt for open food bar. The casino was smaller than I had expected, and there were slow coming to attend to the machines when you needed them and for some reason they closed down about 10-1 cent machines from about the 2nd/3rd night to the end of the cruise. It wasn't until the 3rd night I finally found out they way to get my change back from the machine. When I got the "hand payout from the attendant" sign, all they did was reset the machine back to zero and I lost my change that I couldn't play due to not enough money. When I finally saw what was happening I asked where my change was the attendant just kept walking away and saying nothing. I mean its not the end of the world but 5 cents,10 cents,20 cents do add up after awhile. We did notice that the cabin was a little smaller than what we had on previous cruises but it was durable. There was plenty of storage space in the bathroom and and above the desk area. We felt we had a nice location for our cabin, even though we were across the hall and down a door from the crew room exit we didn't hear anything. It was just so quiet at night and enjoyed the balcony view as well. Our stateroom attendant for our cabin #8066 was "sal"? I can't seem to find his card, but he took care of us and made our cabin and cruise a memorable one. My husband and I celebrated our 35th wedding anniversary while on board and I had ordered the champagne and rose petals and OMG I honestly didn't expect to have the room look like it did! Anything we needed he was there with no problem to help us. thank you Sal!The movie theater was small compared to NCL so we ended up watching the movies on TV which was just as nice, more alone and quite time to spend with the hubby. I guess that's it for now... I still love cruising no matter what cruise line I'm with! Thank you, Kathy and Marc E.
