The Grand is showing her age a little. we still loved her but found many times the Elevators were not working. One time Water from the Spa closed the Elevators for about 12 hours. The moving walk way to the Skywalkers Disco did not work the last half of the cruise.

There was a definite language problem for the first time on this ship. We had difficulty making our waiters understand us in the Early traditional Dining, which we booked becasue we thought we would get better service. After a complaint to the Matri D, it improved. Normally the waiters will steer you away form the worst entees but all these did was describe each one. Very Dissapointing. The Matr D agrred that it is becominga big problem, especially since the ship aapears to have alot of new crew members.

I found the food quality actually better than the last last time we were on the ship and I liked it alot the last time. The beef was very good as were the pastas . The salads were much improved. One thing I did not like was the serving of Cold Soups in Larhe Pino Colada glasses instead of the normal bowls. Crazy as it sounds, I stopped ordering cold soups for this reason. The deserts were vry good. The Princess Dream seems back to its old form and was wonderful. If you see the Tandori Prawn dish, be sure to order it as it was awsome. My favorite entree on the cruise. Nice spice. The Lobster was very good, althouf small. You need 2-3.Got to Sabatinis and you will get the old, traditional large Lobster. But ask for the drwan butter.
