CABINS
We are a family of 7 (ages 34-88) travelling together in 4 cabins. We had a studio, 2 deluxe balconies and a spa balcony. We loved our balcony but it really could only hold 2 people comfortably. My dad loved his studio - found it to be just about right sized. Though he did want a chair so he could watch some football in the cabin. The family members in the deluxe balconies were disappointed - in the size (previously they have had suites) and the bathroom.
ENTERTAINMENT
We really enjoyed all the on board offerings. We really liked Cirque dreams the best (dinner was hit or miss - if you like fillet at medium or medium rare you are in luck - if not you may be a little hungry). We thought the acts were fantastic.
FOOD
For the most part was very good. We ate at all the included venues, Cirque Dreams, Murder Mystery and Le Bistro. We really liked that the cheesecake (our favorite) was available every night. The buffet was a hit with the in-laws. They like all the choices available and really liked the carved turkey one evening. Also, for any sized table (from 2 -7) we never had to wait more than 3 minutes.
PORTS
We did the western route with stops in Costa Maya, Roatan and Cozumel. We did private and ship excursions. All of the ship's excursions were very good; on time with good guides (Costa Maya - ruins, Roatan - dolphins, Miami - everglades). Our private excursions were great also. We went to Maya Chan, Sante Spa and scuba diving with Scubatony. I would highly recommend these private excursions. They are a pleasure to deal with before, during and after the excursion.
SUMMARY
We had a great time on board and wished we had some more time to really relax. Even though it was the largest ship the family had been on before no one got lost (which is very different for us). We liked the casino and had no problems with smoke. We would go back.
