Decided to stay in Bournemouth for 2 nights prior to embarking, great idea, got across to Southampton before the traffice built up, short visit to West Quay, and then to the berth. Unfortunately P&O changed the berth at the last minute, and although having informed the Travel Agent I didn't find out until I got back - guess who I am no longer booking with!!!!!!
Onto Oceana -Cabin was great good location easy access to the stern deck, A Deck ideal location. Cabin Steward was excellent as usual.
On board service no problem, great table 166 in the resturant. Food also good.
Entertainment - Main shows and solo performers no problems, only area of concern was the group who played in the Yacht and Compass - absolutely appalling - allegedly Hungarian, with extremely bad commancd of English.
The ship itself, growing a little tired in the public areas - in need of some refurbrishment - as an example the chairs and settees in the Yacht and Compass need their cushions replaced, some carpet also needs replacing.
The itinerary - great choice Vigo Lisbon Cadiz Casablance and Gibraltar, went on the Santiago Tour again good value for money.
So if anyone from P&O reads thisreview, how about a little spend on seating and carpets apart from that change the Yacht and Compass Band.
