My wife and my self recently retired and booked with Celebrity on the Millennium

From day day one one we did not fell welcome and wanted by the dining room staff. Rude, unhelpful and very rushed sevice we requested the dining staff to slow down but the reply was "the show must go on". The final straw was on the last formal night we were told to hurry up and order. We had just sat down and we were handed both the Wine list and the menu at the same time. Told by the wine waiter to take our time and a few minutes later we were asked for our order from the waiter. We requested a bit of time but the waiter demanded we ordered at once which we did. The first course came immediately with no sign of the wine waiter after as we were finishing the first course the wine water finally appeared and at the same time our plates were rushed away. By this time we were feeling unwanted and as though we were an inconvenience. My wife decided to have a glass of wine as opposed to our normal bottle and I declined wine completely. We then had our second course thrust in front of us. My soup was not to my liking and I did not finish it. My wife was still eating and the waiter said as I was finished he would bring my main course. I said no. I'll wait on my wife. At this point the head waiter appeared and asked us if everything was well. This was the first time we had even seen a head waiter all through our trip. He disregarded our comments. My wife was now finished and our plates were taken and immediately replaced with a sorbet which had melted. We brought this to the attention of the head waiter who was still in the area. He said " It's the correct texture". We had tried to make light of the situation but because of the overpowering and intimidating nature of both the Head waiter and the waiter we left the dining room before things got worse.

As I mentioned before we felt totally unwanted during our whole vacation in this dining room. From the greeting staff to the assistant waiters. We felt they took pleasure in ruining our holiday.
